I curate projects about what art and artists do in people's lives. My focus is the audience: what happens when we turn the lens to them and their experience. The depth of an artist's impact becomes visible through an audience's testimony.
The People's Museum for Prince is the working model: ten years, two Minneapolis seasons, contributors from nine countries, a year-round Living Archive. I bring the same method to artists' estates, artist's museums and institutions, as guest curator, collaborator or adviser. A season, a commission, a residency, a conversation.
